How many visitors are you getting from AllTheWeb daily?

Does AllTheWeb get very small traffic? Or is it just my site not being optimized for ATW?

Alltheweb gets about 2 million queries per day, so no i don't get that much traffic from Alltheweb less than 5%.

irock, ATW is not the main source of traffic coming from FAST.
ATW does not get promoted and is meant to showcase FAST search technology only.

Main source of traffic from FAST comes through Lycos portals, and, dependeng on your location and targeted markets, from some other, mostly european portals.

Here's a list of FAST partners [webmasterworld.com]

One of my sites gets a small amount of traffic from ATW and the conversion ratios are good. It does'nt cost anything so why ignore it?

Tony, nobody ignores it, it's just that Fast's best traffic comes from its partner sites not its showcase. But if we want to be in Lycos etc, then we can't ignore AlltheWeb.com can we?

I use to get 7 visitors and day from AllTheWeb and about 30 a day from Lycos with one of my site (with a very competitive keyword).

However, thanks to ATW's latest update I am now nowhere. The site has not changed and therefore should not have been banned. If I do a search I can see the pages are still in the index. However, they have gone from #1 to below #200.

Thanks FAST :(

Chris.

Chris, anything on or about the site that FAST might view as spamming?

My site has 90% traffic from Search engines, on an average day, we have about 400 visitors from Google and Google directory, 60 from Google.yahoo, 30 from Altavista, about the same from OPD and only about 12 from Fast (Alltheweb+Lycos). We have 1,500 pages listed with Fast (with hundreds of keywords ranking in the top 20) and about 5,700 lised with Google. Fast is in the process of updating the site and just yesterday the number of pages listed went up to 4,800, and the robot is still crawling the site. After this major update, it would be interesting to see if it would have any impact on numbers of visitors.

I hear ya daesasitorn! We only have 600 pages on google and fast. We recieve about an average of 1000 visitors a day from google. Google.yahoo about half that. Msn/looksmart (100 deep noncommercial pages submitted to zeal) about 2000 visitors per day)which is cool free traffic. And an amazing 2 from fast! I don't know why but they just don't rank well there. Almost all of my google pages rank in the top 5. Fast well I havent found them yet!!!!

In Scandinavia Fast is powering Scandinavian Online (SOL) and is very much one of top engines.
