This actually caught me by surprise. Couldn't figure out what was going on. Thanks for the update.

Does anyone have any idea on what criteria FAST is ranking sites - with these latest updates?

mixed bag of bolts, picked up some #1's, lost some #1's, and still need to refocus on the site. except for one key term pretty much rule the coupe.

HIHI, yes it seems to be a major update, i am going over the results now, they seem to be close to the 2 billion pages index now.

The serp's haven't changed that much, it doesn't look like the existing pages have been updated either, i think they only added pages in this update, will continue to look.

It's been like this for some time. My site has gone. No reason. No help from FAST.

vitaplease, as to this update, we haven't had much time to dig into it, but I would asume that they still apply the basic algorithm. Mentioned here [webmasterworld.com]. Fast is always tweaking their algo and often you'll the same page go up and down.

Luckily we have WebmasterWorld to keep us informed of major changes ;)

Imma little frustrated, obvious update but yet not change in any of my pages...what gives?..I know someone else said something similar, is this everyone or just him and I?
Is this something that happens regularly? Did they just add pages?

FAST spidered my site yesterday (29th) for the first time and took about 300+ pages. Those pages have yet to appear in the index though.

Funny update... I lost Rankings for top optimized pages but got the same rankings and even better ones for pages which where not extremly optimized...

Seems like Fast doesn´t like "School like" pages where the same keywords are in Title, Metatags, <h1>, link... they seem to love "spontaneity..."

I also have the feeling that Link-Pop ist much more rewarded now... which would explain why poorly optimized pages now rank well...

I stayed pretty much the same across the board, gaining maybe one position here and there. Guess that's doing pretty well considering the new sites added.
