Fast updates there index every week but that's only 25% of the index, it looks like they have made a bigger update now.
It seems to be great.

Well if there is any correlation between the ranking of our sites and how good the index is, its a brilliant update! :)

Yes ;-)

Good things are happening for this chef with fast, nearly all of my 200+ pages are included in the new fast index.

How do you find out how many of your pages are included?

Jill, just use this syntax:

url.host:www.yourdomain.com

That should give the number of pages in Fast' index from you site.

Hmmmm...upon searching for my domain, I noticed that our site is not in the new index... I'm concerned but not panicking....Is there anyway to find out from Fast what the status of a site is? Does anyone have any "connections"? :) I'm hoping the site was just accidentally dropped from the index. Since May 8th, I have had the following spiders hit the site:
fpcr003.sac2.fastsearch.net
cr006r01.sac2.fastsearch.net
cr006r01-test.sac2.fastsearch.net

Anyone else get dropped altogether? Any help on this would be great. Feel free to stickymail me and I'll provide my domain for you.

Did you try searching for link.all:www.yourdomain.com ?
In case you didn't see the post below, this worked well in helping me find that our pages were not really gone after all. The way I used to find them doesn't work any longer.

Ok. My pages are in the index (well some) but they about 100th.

Have FAST f***** up? What's going on? There is no way ANY sites should be above mine. Please tell me it's not settled on this for a month.

Does anyone know whats happens

no. But there is no way this is right. There are sites above me, which don't even have a similar keyphrase to what I searched...

Hugh.......I tried link.all:www.yourdomain.com but to no avail my site is not listed in the index. Do we have a FastGuy that could lend a helping hand? hehe.

I know how you feel I just did a product specific search for a clients product, they have been in the top 3 for the last 3 months with the search I did, they now at number 50. I am totally new to this SEO stuff and am wondering just what happened. One of there other products is still in the number one spot and no changes have been made to the site in the last 2 weeks. Can someone tell me what is going on?

Thanks Sincerely,
A Newbie

Well I'm in the index (somewhere). Must be very low down. I'm going to contact them. I suggest you do the same. I use some unoffical channels and we'll see what we can do.
