Just noticed today that LS apears as portal partner and powered by FAST.

That's what I thought! I saw Fast's logo on looksmart and Brett said Looksmart use Fast's old engine...

Old SOFTWARE. When you search on the Looksmart directory, it is Fasts _software_ running the search on ls's machines.

Aha! Interesting.

LS is indeed using different providers around the globe (ink, google, altavista, (fast)).
