Fast going Japan

partnering with IBM Japan

Fast and IBM today announce a partnership, in which IBM will market, sell, and provide systems integration services for FAST solutions in Japan.

This is the first major contract for Fast in Japan. IBM Japan says they were convinced of teaming with Fast by the "immediate and discernible benefits, which we witnessed firsthand after IBM chose FAST as search provider for ibm.com"

Offices in Japan will be opened soon.

This move could bring Fast in a good position for providing websearch in Asia too.
