Does anyone know where the 1st results in Lycos UK come from ?

Are they from the directory ?

Have a look at the descriptions for positions 1 and 4 on the following query ?

Well I am getting an error now. I looked at it breifly before and couldn't figure out Mark. Anyone else?

I've got them. Both listings of Yahoo! branded Scoot dynamic pages (Scoot is a UK service similar to Yellow Pages).

Impressive! I've never thought of trying to submit my faulty ASP scripts to Lycos UK before. ;)

I'm guessing some sort of deal behind the rankings...
