fast spidering

selective based on link pop?

I manage a number of sites, and it seems to me that ones that have more links are udpated more often than ones with lesser links. some ones with very few links havent been updated for 3 months at least.
Could fast be selectively updating? at any rate it seems to me that sites do not get homogenous treatment with updating
any thoughts?

I do see some sites spidered more often than others, will check to see if the link pop has anything to do with it.
