Anyone else getting crawled heavily by T-Rex?

Hi all,

Just wanted to know if anyone has been crawled heavily by Lycos_Spider_(T-Rex)lately? Last week T-Rex had 780 hits on the site and 300 visitor sessions. The week before that it had 400 or so hits. Does T-Rex still index sites as I was under the assumption Lycos uses FAST and it's spidered results now(has been for a while)?

The previous highest amount of hits by T-Rex on the site I am referring to was just under 200.

Anyone got any suggestions?

Me too. The old dinosaur is still active.

Yes, sometimes, though I hardly notice, its usually 2-3 hits, then a long pause, that kind of pattern.

Same thing last week...673 hits and 260 visitor sessions for T-Rex. Can anyone shed some light on why T-Rex is crawling so much?
