Correct?
Now if you do a ONE keyword search on that same FAST-powered engine, the results will match up most of the time to "the exact phrase" parameter on Alltheweb.com.
Correct?
The stuff included from DMOZ only tends to show up in the "all of the words" parameter in Alltheweb.com's results but not in the FAST-powered sites? Or both?
Two searches with the same SERP's for "autos"
Evreka.se Search [evreka.passagen.se]
Alltheweb.com search [alltheweb.com]
Why do only some of the sites listed in Evreka's search results have dates listed in their description and some do not. From another source? Dmoz maybe?
Besides if they are mixing in DMOZ stuff it's only going to benefit someone in FAST's proper search. Good ol SEO get's you listed well in the partners which is where the good hits come from.
I wonder tho why some of the listings don't have dates. The sites that do not have dates are from "well-known-popular-sites." Trying to do some match ups but it looks like they are pulled from somewhere other than spidering.

Yeah I'd really like to get into Lycos's "brain" to see how they judge how much of their own results to show compared to the FAST stuff. Kinda seems like they go in there manually and "fix" a lot of it.
