full-time FAST on Lycos?

i havent been keeping an eye on lycos the past few weeks... they were doing that weird index swapping thing, where results were sometimes Ink, sometimes Lycos, sometimes FAST...

am i to understand that they've stabilized to full-time FAST over the last few days?

has anyone seen Ink results on Lycos recently?

oh and (this might be another thread) but what are people's results re: HOW to submit to FAST?
- submit all pages (monthly, every 3 months, onetime)
- submit one page (monthly, every 3 months, onetime)
- let it find you

i've been submitting individual pages once a month, but havent seen ANY spiders from FAST in about the past month... am i in trouble?

i'd have to dig up logs from the past few months to see if this is normal or not (which will take a while, but i can do if noone has immediate feedback)...

sooo... thoughts?

(this is like 3 threads, but i dont want to post three new threads all at once and be labeled a spammer! :)

Sure looks like full time Fast too me. They are doing the top 4 direct hit influenced thing from Ink, then the full 10site Fast listing. And yes, you know the other questions are another thread (duck).

I still am doing the 'trickle' thing with a few urls per day and having regular visits.

Thanks for jumping in SeoBoy.

thanks brett, i must be overdoing it. i'm going to try pulling the throttle back a bit (ie. fewer submissions) and see what happens. spider visits have been almost nonexistent the past month or so.

question now is whether i got myself banned or not :P
it'll be interesting to see if i can coax them back by changing my methods. i'll keep you posted ...

Fasts spider activity has definitely slowed down in the last three months. I stick to 4 submissions per day per site.

Well I'm kind of puzzled. I seem to spend a lot of time in that state of mind. (whats left of it)
I was #7 on my main single keyword on Lycos for quite a while. Suddenly dropped to #53 first part of June. On Fast I'm #2 for that one. Been there forever. If Lycos is pulling from Fast after the top 4, I should be right there. Right?
Am I missing something?
