RIPE IP Addresses Showing Up

Any help with who these people are?

Recently we had a problem with Kanoodle and a huge spike on clickthroughs despite no change in ranking.
I went through the weblogs and did whois on a bunch of the addresses:
A huge percentage of the clickthroughs were from IPs originating in the RIPE domains.
I am rather sure this is some European domain server...but i don't know anything about them...
Any ideas what they do? Are they perhaps a Euro-AOL or something?
Any help would be wonderful.

Did you go to the RIPE [ripe.net] website?

They are the equivalent of Arin [arin.net] for "Europe, the Middle East, Central Asia and African countries located north of the equator" (ie: they delegate IPs for those areas).
