ipd/1.0 showing up in my browser stats

I know what it stands for but what sort of browser is it?

This 'internet packet delay' abbreviation keeps showing up in my browser stats. Anyone tell me why please?

Thanks for the reply NFFC. They would have to be doing a lot of research and also it's shown up on two entirely different sites of mine. On one of them it accounts for 15% of the browsers used during that week, some 4100 requests.

What type of server are you running?

Also, what is the IP, if it is logged?

I use NT and one of the lines from my log that includes this ipd/1.0 thing is 195.149.39.86 - my.sites.ip.address 80 GET /directory.asp - 200 ipd/1.0 -

The strange thing is that although there are thousands of different log lines, all with different ip addresses that end with this ipd/1.0 thing, they've all requested the same page on my site. Btw I'm using Analog to analyse the stats.
Thanks for any help.

I may have discovered the answer. The directory that is accessed when this ipd/1.0 thing shows up is a secure part of the site, a customer logon to be precise. So would this show up as this browser type thing instead of the customers actual browser? But then they would have to have browsed their way to the site so maybe not........
