Referrals from AltaVista UK

High searches on odd search term

Looking through my logs I have notice a high search on one term from AltaVista UK. The term is a generic term for the product but not a term I would have associated with high searches.

This is how each UK engine compares to % search for this term.

AltaVista - 62%
AOL - 3%
MSN - 8%
Yahoo - 10%
Ask - 3%

This is the search string

[uk.altavista.com...]

The x & y value change each time but what do they mean?

I can't replicate the search string can anyone?

I using a PPC campaign to market the site and I am concerned that I being target.

Hi,
I think the referer URL is too large. ******* is to have a smaller URL, and your browser dont find the referer.
If you are interested in referer analysis try OK-Log (www.oklog.biz).
It's very dificult to find a better software for that analysis.
