Does anyone know of any tools that can be used to list all the urls of sites that are linking to you?

I have webalizer that shows me the top 30 or so referers to my site, but I want to compile a comprehensive list of linking urls to anaylise.

Naturally ive kept a log of where i registered my site and who i asked to put links to my site on their site, but no doubt there will be people adding my url to their site without me asking them to.

It is these sites i would like to find out more about.

Can anyone help?

Cheers

Dmoz Link_Popularity Category [dmoz.org]

here's a few.

Typing your domain in at most search enignes will do the same. AllTheWeb.com is especially good for this.

Each of the major search engines has a "link", "linkurl" or similar command that lists all sites pointing to yours, so long as that site itself is listed in the search engine.

Marketleap is a great tool that cover all the major engines in one handy report. Just type in the URL.

You'll find it at Marketleap (dot com)

Hi jackofalltrades

Welcome to wmw

As fom2001uk pointed out you can type in a link commands, which are:

AltaVista - link:mysite.com
Fast - link.all:mysite.com
Google - link:www.mysite.com
Inktomi - linkdomain:mysite.com

Just keep in mind that this list only includes pages that obviously have been indexed by the search engines and also Google only lists pages with PR 4 or more.

Those online tools are very far from accurate with Google. The best thing is to go directly to the important search engines and search a few different ways to get the most accurate picture.
