Hi, i would like to know how accurate my webstats are, ime using analog 5.23, and this is what is says for this week
counting since 2nd June;

Successful requests in last 7 days 16,277
Redirected requests 456 Requests
Redirected requests in last 7 days 282 Requests
Distinct hosts served 18,509 Hosts
Distinct hosts served in last 7 days 5,151 Hosts
Total data transferred 551.64 MBytes
Total data transferred in last 7 days 90.79 MBytes

Distinct Hosts, should be unique visitors right ?
ime also (Still) using addfreestats (be gentle ;))
they count only about 130 visitors each day ?
i know all about caches (i use no-cache on my addfreestats counter), and downloading images with proxy, as a new count

anybody dare to give me a approximate unique counting ?

The Analog site's How the web works [analog.cx] has a good overview of what you can and cannot infer from your stats.

Reading that article was a real wake up call for me. If thats the case, how is it possible to calculate coversion rates and ROI with any degree of accuracy?
