new server log software?

we just had a new server built, can anyone recomend a log software or script to run on it so we can get the raw log data, the server builder for some reason does not know,

Hello, and probably welcome.

If you are using Apache or IIS (or another webserver), tohse can be configured to leave more or less detailed statistics.

Actually analysing them is the task of another piece of software, in that category awstats, analog, and urchin do play.
