Who owns which range?

I used to visit a site that displayed who owned ip addresses by range but they closed the site.
It was real handy if you wanted to find out how many ip addresses a competitor owned. That way I could track them with a stats program or serve up some interesting pages for them.
Dis-information ....wink wink.

It displayed which range of address belonged to who. It was somewhat out of date but was still relevant.
Can anyone provide a link to this kind of information?

you could use something like [samspade.org...] to look up the IP ranges in which you are interested in real time and then go from there.

Go to the source, don't use third parties if you want to script results off sites.

Go to [aso.icann.org...] if the range is in north amercia then [arin.net...] will have your answer.
