Does Analytics exclude visits from Spiders in the "Unique Visitors Tracking > Daily Visitors"?

As most spiders don't trigger the javascript Analytics relys on I would have thought so!

Only visitors with javascript enabled are tracked, thus robots are excluded and, depending on the site, a small percentage of human visitors.

I had oppurtunity in working with some leading web analytics and this is what seprates a tracker from a log analyzer.

Tracker like google analytics doesn't count bots as a visitor while a log analyser like sawmill will consider those visits as normal visitor. Thus log analyzer will always show more visitors than tracker.

Some smart system will be able to track the visitor even when the js is disabled.
