I've read in Joint-Venture guides that when asking people to join your joint-venture/affiliate program you should give them statistics.

My adwords shows that we have 1.3% who see the ad actually click on it, and thanks to Google's tracking I know that 2.08% of those who click on the ad actually become customers.

Question is... is that good? I know it's good for me, because the numbers work out, but is it a good statistic or should I work more on the ad copy?

The product is $29.95 setup and $29.95/mo. The average user stays at least a year. Avg. CPC is 55c. Average cost per conversion is $26.

Well, it's not bad. But it depends on what you're selling. We have sites with a 10% conversion rate (insurance), and some with only 0,4% (luxury products the average person wouldn't be ably to afford).

I believe normally a 5% conversion rate would be impressive, and anything above 1% reasonable.

That is a great CPConversion if someone stays on for more than a month. I am getting about 1.85% now and will take it anyday of the week.

As the others say - it depends on what you are selling. I think the 2.08% sounds OK,but the 1.3% needs some work... You can probably up that quite alot by dumping phrases that are never converting to sale. If not, then it must be tha language you are using in the ads or that you are not getting specific enough in your phrases.

If you could get 3% CTR and keep 2.08% conversion, then you've just doubled your turnover.
