WebTrends 8 and its ODBC connection

Recommendations on easy interfaces for ODBC

It's now possible to work with WebTrends 8 through an ODBC driver they are now providing. It looks like this might work better than WebTrends' SmartReports method of exporting to Excel pivot tables, which required a separate export for every single subreport and was a pain to use because of that.

But I'm pretty clueless about database things and need some kind of front-end interface to help me work with it.

Does anybody have any suggestions?

It sounds like you just need something custom built. Is that what you're asking?

If so, I'd imagine it's pretty easy to set something up.

Custom built would be okay, but I'd prefer something off the shelf. And maybe something that would allow interfaces at the same time with other databases so I could merge data.

My WebTrends reports have tons of tables, hundreds. Some are 5,000 lines. And I'm constantly pulling them with new date ranges. So something that could keep all of that organized and refresh the date ranges ...

Maybe I'm hoping for too much. Just being able to pull data through this interface would be enough for now.
