well.... big day for me.... I upgraded My Netracker Enterprise Edition with 15 more licenses... and when the cron ran on the new domains, it picked up the existing log files, and I had stats going back on some sites for almost a yr! Just to start from scratch would have been cool enough, but to go retro.... that was too much:)

I guess you have to love stats to appreciate 'retro bonus stats', but I feel like its xmas in May:) Hehehehe now I also know where all my space is going too.... got to get in there and delete some of those log files:)

Yessireeeee :)...nothing like a good log file analyzer to make your day :) That's the sign :) of a true webmaster :) and marketeer ;)

What exactly does this analyzer do :) that, say, :) Traxis doesnt do Dogboy? :) Real curious ;)

'Traxis'.... don't know them, toolman, but that isn't saying much:) In fact, I don't think I'm going to be able to say too much about NetTracker® without violating some wmw tos, but basically NetTracker is one of the more polished log analyzers on the market.... lots of bells and whistles.... I think there are something like 113 summaries, and then you can add custom summaries after that. I like it because I can start at 1 page and see all the domains I'm tracking (ranked from highest traffic to lowest), and then I can drill down from there. Once you get to the info you want, you can hit a button and have NetTracker graph it for you in a bunch of different ways.

The other reason I like it is because if you ever wanted to sell a site, the info NetTracker gives you could be printed as a white paper and graphs.... very slick if you were going after VC, etc.

On the downside, it isn't cheap, but I still think it's worth it if you were me. I've talked about my total lack of technical knowledge before and this kinda fits in with that.... it plugs in pretty easy with a cobalt... did it myself except I need my programmer to make the cron work.

...a good laugh, maybe:) 'heehehhe, look here, this is when they lost their DMOZ listing'....ROFL... 'no,no,no,...look at this.... traffic just stopped over here when they got hacked...or here when NETSOL decided to put a hold on their domains....'

$5/head to get my password... guaranteed belly laugh or your money back... sticky mail for more info.....heeheheh
