Adsense Hijacking?

Adsense hijacking is suspected

I am an adsense publisher, and around 3 weeks ago my clicks and impressions took a significant jump up. I am using tracking software and I could not account for this increase. I inputted all my URLs in the Google Adsense reporting section figuring my tracking software was not picking up clicks under certain conditions. After another couple of days, I checked the Google stats and sure enough there were still excessive impressions and clicks that were not accounted for. Interestingly enough as my clicks went up, the Cost Per Click went down, so the net result was just a small increase in income (smart pricing?). In addition, my CTR decreased as well. I am at a loss, any ideas, suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Was my PUB number hijacked? If so, how do I find out?

Is your server slow, or are your pages large? You may be getting clicks from Google's cache. Are you using standard channels as well as URL channels? If not - try doing so!

Thank you for the reply, pages are not that large, and yes I have used both URLs and Channels. Since my CTR has decreased significantly, I almost ruled out fraud. Many of my pages have original articles that I have written, and after reading several forums on the topic, I have come to the conclusion that someone may have copied my article(s) with my adsense code. As a result I may be getting credit for impressions and clicks on the site(s) that are using my articles.

Make sense?

As a side, you mention large pages and Google Cache, can you elaborate?
