I know _vti_inf.html is a file for Frontpage. I am wondering why I am getting bombarded with these requests. Is this a security threat? It seems that the request are being automatically generated. Is somebody probing me?

He is either
a) Testing a Frontpage bug on your server
or
b) Checking if he can access you page from Frontpage.

I get that alot also. Some are definite security hole checkers, while others are valid browsers that later on want to copy the html format/data through frontpage.
