urchinTracker problem

problems with tracking pdf download and outgoing links

I was tring to add conversion tracing for pdf and outgoing click links using method described here: [google.com...]
However no conversions are tracked. Does anyone of you have problem with urchinTracker function?
but there is something else I do not
understand.

I use Live HTTP headers FireFox plugin.
I track with urchintracker click on:
<a href mailto:bla@blah onClick="javascript:urchinTracker('/email');">
HTTP headers show me, that some datas are transfered through _utm.gift to google-analytics.com.

Same thing with simple outgoing link or link to pdf file doesn't work, I mean no datas are transfered to google-analytics.com. I do not understand it at all. Any ideas?

There is bug for sure, they have to fix it. I see my pdf dawnoloads and click on outgoing links in Initial Navigation report (found under Content Optimization ->Navigational Analysis), but conversion is still 0%.
