What a co-incidence? I came here to ask same question . How one can exclude own IP from Webalizer and Awstats? In awstats, I tried to add my own IP in config file but it did not work.

HideSite 192-168-1-1*
seems to work for Webalizer.

So does "HideSite 192-168-1-1*" get put into the .htaccess file?

It goes in my "WEBALIZER.cfg" file. It could be titled differently on different setups, I don't really know, but once you find it add the line to the top.
And "HideSite 192-168-1-1*" is generic, use your own IP address, just seperate it with dashes "-" instead of periods "."
