I am tring to figure out how to track users from one city using webtrends/geotrends.
I mean I want to retrieve users make up a report for one city only.

From the report view I can not do it, where do I find the info in webtrends database?

I there a webtrends guru out there? :)

If you have Enterprise Edition, you can do it (version 7.x). You'd have to use Custom Reports. In the Custom Reports setup area, make a custom dimension out of the city or state or whatever (you can also do area codes and such), then make a custom filter out of the custom dimension, then apply the filter to any custom report.

Since you can duplicate just about any regular report using Custom Reports, you should be able to get almost anything you need this way, with some setup work.

If you don't have Enterprise Edition, I don't think you can do it at all.

If you're asking interesting questions like that, you might also consider joining WebTrends' online user forum. It doesn't have the breadth and cross-fertilization available here on WebmasterWorld, but it's good for in-depth WT issues.

I never even thought of that to be honest with you - I took it from the standpoint that our basic licence would allow questions on webmasterworld lol - Thanks for the tip!
