I need a crash course of understanding my stats.

Please tell me what is difference between hit, file, page, visit and pageview.

I'm new to this whole thing and Im trying to figure it out.

it is comprehensive. For instance:
Page View: Web Page Hits, or number of times a page is viewed.. See Also: Doorway Page,Hit
