Does this file mean anything to you?

On my error logs, I'm getting a file-not-found error all the time for a file named 1.ani. Could it be an error in Google's adsense iframe?

The problem is, I don't reference this file anywhere in my site, and neither do my users. I noticed my IP on one of the errors. So I looked through the source (rendered in browser) on all of the pages I looked at around the time of the error- to see if the file was being generated at runtime somehow- and I still couldn't find it.

Could it be an error in Google's adsense iframe? Has anyone else seen this?

Thanks for your help

Just did a Google search for 1.ani and came up with this very clear explanation. Hope it helps.

We show that ANI-1 and ANI-2 contribute to embryonic viability by performing distinct functions in the early embryo and gonad, respectively. By contrast, ANI-3 appears to be dispensable for embryonic development. ANI-1 is essential for cortical ruffling and pseudocleavage, contractile events that occur in embryos prior to mitosis. ANI-1 is also required for the highly asymmetric cytokinetic events that extrude the two polar bodies during oocyte meiosis, but is dispensable for cytokinesis following mitotic chromosome segregation.

Sorry that I couldn't find something related to website errors :-)

ha ha... I saw that one too. Thanks anyway.

Normally I wouldn't cast blame on Google, but the ad pages have caused other weird problems before.

When you search for a .ani file (dot)ani you will find info about W&%ndows animated cursors?

Thank you very much. I didn't even think of that.

One of my users must be specifying an animated cursor in his CSS file.

Now all I have to do i find out who.
