Requests for adsense.txt and other non-existent files

Upon inspecting my error logs this morning, I noticed that someone is trying to fetch some non-existent files from my website root:

adsense.txt
msn.txt
searchresults.html

I have no adsense, etc. on my website. And there are no such files.
Is there any idea as to what this may mean?

Just an educated guess -- someone is looking to scrape some commercially useful information. From Googling around a bit, these seem to be commonly used file names that may hold search information and other somewhat valuable data onj some servers, especially when that data is aggregated over many sites.

Unless it's causing you major bandwidth troubles, I would just ignore it.
