With NetIQ dropping Security Reporting Center as of August of 2006 I am left to find a replacement.

NetIQ ported SRC over during WebTrends tenure under their umbrella. With WT's departure I guess NetIQ no longer wants to play with this anymore and WT doesn't wish to pick it back up.

My problem here is that the available proxy reporting tools seem to lack the robust reporting I have grown accustom too with SRC.

Any suggestions? We have appx 17,000 users a day to monitor who create near 2 GB a day in logs, so whatever the tool is it will have to rather strong.

Thanks in advance.

Might want to take a look at NetTracker. Their product can report on Proxy/Firewall information also.

What did SRC do specifically?

Security Reporting Center replaced the Firewall Suite of WebTrends after the acquisition. It parsed through proxy and/or firewall logs and provided usage information such as sites visited, by whom, how much and a ton of other more granular reports.

It had the same calendering feature that WebTrends products have so you could select particular date ranges as well.

Slick product, sad to see it go.
