Here is the situation.

I run a program that we'll call (www.example.com). I recently created an affiliate campaign for this program at mport. Now, I need to make sure that I'm only paying the advertisers for leads from the United States. I have the option of declining any leads I don't like (for instance if they're from other countries.) The url I use for the affiliate program is (www.example.com/ad/200). This is for tracking purposes only (to see which leads came from the affiliate program.) I need to know if there's any good advice for tracking which of the leads are from US

If you need a database, you can use ip-to-country.

Try ip-to-country [ip-to-country.webhosting.info] which is used by the php.net site.
