The company that I work for is finally ready to buy a new software to measure hits on our site. I personally used MarketWave Hit list Professional Edition 4.0 and was very unhappy with it. Mostly because of the help that I did not find to be very descriptive.
Could someone please advise or give a personal opinion on this subject. What would be the good tool to use ?
Thanks !

We use and are very happy with DeepMetrix. It is a little spendy if all you are trying to do is track # of hits though.

we use webtrends and I quite like it. I think there are even some versions that are free.

OpenWebScope is my choice of today.
However you should look closely at your raw log files to see what data can actually be extracted.

I have found that the log files generated by some host yeild little no matter what program is used to analyze.
