Sharing website logs with potential partners?

Is this wise?

I have been approached by another website asking me to join their affiliate program, but I am already in another program and want to wait a while.

If I do decide to swap over, would it be worth showing the reports of my site visitors for the first half of this year to the partner or should I keep it to myself.

The reporting software I use is much more detailed than what I could describe myself and it could show visitors to my site more accurately.

Hi!I was just going through your problem.What I'll suggest you is ,that,stick to your programme.And if you decide to join them also,do not disclose everything to them,about your site visitors so early.
see there worth and loyalty first,and then come to a conclusion.All the very best.

Whatever you do, cleanse the results of anything that would help them identify or reach your individual visitors. If you share logs, don't share the IP field or the cookie field (if the site has persistent cookies), the authenticated user field (if populated), or anything in the URLs that can identify an individual in any way or help anyone get into their purchase history, etc. Do the same kind of cleansing of traffic reports. I'm assuming your site's privacy policy says you won't share information about individual visitors with any third parties, so you need to do this to comply and also you need to do it on general ethical grounds.

Thanks for your advice on this issue. I'm not really that concerned with the money my site makes, I just want to link to a website that people want to use to buy the products I review. At the moment I have only had one confirmed sale that has been referred from my site.
