When I run a Webtrends report, it only displays the top 20 pages. How can I get it to display ALL the pages logged?

thanks in advance!

There's a Report setup area, could be called Report Profiles or something, and there's a Content tab within it. That's where you indicate which individual reports you want turned on or off. If you highlight the report (i.e. table), you'll see boxes at the bottom of that window that allow you to change the number of primary and secondary elements to display. Let me know if that works.

I am familar with the Content tab. Everything is checked off to be displayed. I also set what I wanted for the primary parameter but nothing for the secondary because I don't have a secondary one.

I guess my questions is if it display 20 lines for the Top Pages, is that all there is to be listed, or is that infact the top 20? And if it is just the Top 20, how do I get ALL the data to appear in the report. There is not place to check off, "display all data", or something like that...

I have been through Options, Profiles, Reports, and could not find anything that would all all the info to be displayed and not just the top 20...

sorry, I am just going crazy... this appilcation is very difficult to learn...I have version 7.0C, the user guide I have is for a previous version & the documentation I find on line is for later versions.

Thanks again for your help...

If you changed the number of primary elements to something above 20 and it's only showing you 20 for that report, I'd say you only have 20 pages on your site and it's a coincidence. (you can get a hint about this --- the number of visits should taper off close to zero at the bottom of the list) I've had that table up to 999 pages with no problem. Perhaps, however, the level you are using only allows 20 top pages. When I had that program I worked with the top version and you might have the bottom one or something.(but, then, I don't think it would allow you to change the number of elements).

If you're using the old version that I think you have (which is about 4-5 years old) then you're right it has some very counter-intuitive high-level issues that make it hard to learn, with or without the right manual. I've gone back to use an old version a couple of times and get frustrated all over again.

Wait, sorry...I thought you were talking about primary "parameter"...I am not sure where to change the # of elements to be higher than 20. (Which is what I want to do)

Are you familar with version 7.0c? If so, could you tell me where to go to change that # to more than 20? I really have no clue where to do it.

Thanks again!

Ok, so I found what you were talking about...Thank you so much for your help by the way...I changed all the values to like 200, and it seems to be giving me what I want...but now i have yet another problem...I can't get the "Dynamic Pages & Forms" section to appear on my reports if I use the "Directory Only" filter. If I don't use it, it appears, but I only want to view that directory (not the others on my site) so I have to use it...the reason why I need to see the "Dynamic Pages & Forms" section is becasue next, I will need to view more than one directory (but not all of them).

thanks again as usual...

Are you sure you want the Dynamic Pages & Forms report? WebTrends has phased it out in favor of the Pages report. I don't remember enough about the DP&F report to know why you're getting that behavior. Does the Pages report go empty also?

It's not that the header is there, but no content below it, the header doesn't show up at all...
