Dear all,
I use a basic online tracker that doesnt track spiders.
But i have noticed frequest visits to our site from thailand- our business is in Scandinavia. Im mildly interested cause whatever it/they are sometimes stays quite a while... I am also a little concerned.
If its not a robot, (maybe it is)- we have a Redcross banner ad with clickthro to donations.... Can there be something naughty going on via the ad?
(revip.asianet.co.th ) there are basically 2-3 ip adresses that are used.
Sometimes 2-3 times a day.
Has anyone seen this activity and can explain it-- concerned about a possible scam and spam going on...
Thanks a lot--

Your best indications or evidence is always in your Access_logs from your host ISP.
You need to know which files the Thailand visitor is calling up.

IF they are all or almost all .html, .htm or other executable files (no images)
then its almost certainly a spider on the crawl. This is harmless unless they eat up too much bandwidth.

IF you see a normal mix of pages (html etc) and images, then its probably a curious person browsing.

There are other possibilities, you need to see those logs.

Dear Larry,
Thanks for suggestions, I dont have access to my log - I use an internet service, but i get good detail and can see the pages they call. A few days ago one of these spent a long time on the site- hours.
Now 2-3 times a day i get one or other of the same ips from different 2 cities and they only seem to go to the home page. The home page is where the banner adv for redcross is- that why im suspicious.
Paranoid maybe :) - I wondering if this is a case of check with my host? - I dont like the idea of redcross being compromised.
I like the idea of a curious browser but not of a naughty one :)
