Webtrends & Windows 2000 error - http:///

When I try and access webtrends enterprise login on windows 2000 the browser redirects to [/...] (3 forward slashes) and gives the html source title error of "Cannot find server"

Any ideas? All machines tested have the most up to date version of Java runtime. Windows XP machines do not produce any errors.

Are you including the port number, which is often required?

I include the port number in the URL. The URL i use which works on XP does not work on Windows 2000.

I'm puzzled by this, because we use both 2000 and XP at both ends at various times, and have never seen this. I assume all permissions and privileges, at the machine, domain, and network level, are all correct?
