Where have LARGE ISP users gone ?

New reports show lots of users for *** Inc but they aren't from Virginia?

We have just upgraded to version 7.0 of a log analyzing package and we had lots of visitors from a LARGE ISP who was routing their clients through Virginia. In version 7.0 we are getting better geographical locations for our users but have 12,000 *** Inc visitors but only a tenth that number are coming from Virginia. Has this LARGE ISP started routing through other/multiple cities? If so, which cities?

Another possibility is that the software is resolving the IP address back to the originating state/province. I didn't think this was possible.

Can anyone shed some light on this???

If you kept an older version of the software, you could find the answer to one part of your question. Run a log file on the old version to find out.

A certain cable modem company closed it's doors. A lot of cable users were switched to different companies and also different ips. I noticed some georesolving issues there as well.
