Right now the company I work for uses Analog to track website statics. It shows that on average our site gets 30,000 page requests daily. That equals to about over 10 million page requests anually.

Are page requests equivalent to page views according to WebTrends? and if so does that mean the site I track must use the Enterprise edition of WT since it attracts over 5 million views a year?

thanks!

If you go with WebTrends, don't choose the "edition" based on the page views. The difference is really the features. The lower-level editions all have less expensive add-on licenses that allow you to bump up the page views as needed.

Besides, I've heard from several people that the page view limit isn't being enforced yet, probably not for quite a long time, but that's just hearsay.

And yes a page request is a page view. If you have certain "pages" that will never need to be analyzed or counted at all, you can pre-filter them with a simple script and make your page quota last longer. (You can do this kind of thing with any product whose pricing is based on page views of course.)
