Cron Job

to run pages with SSI getting XML data. Save it as html for a later downlod

I was wondering how can I do that...
I have SSI that would pull up multiple pages into one page html from xml data.....it has a lot of data and time consuming...
I was wondering if I could program an automatic script that would run that html file....save the output html (or mht) to my web directory for a later review.

Any suggestions?

sounds like a good plan and then you could just include the output from that script in your page.

How often would it need to update?
