Hi,

I just learned that someone at GoDaddy tells me that they do not allow access to logfiles.

I find this hard to believe. I've inquired to see if this involves ALL levels of service rather than just the cheap seats and I'll chime in with the answer later.

They do sell "Traffic Facts" as a small extra cost add on which doesn't look half bad - it is just the other half that I need.

Meanwhile, please, what super-low-cost hosting services are friendly to people like me who want to have logs (and have the logging configured correctly for use with say Web Trends...)?

-- later -- sheesh - the rep said they don't... but here it is in Traffic Facts showing that in fact that they do...

um, where's my coffee?

You can always create your own. I have a PHP script that makes it's own stats for me. Sticky me if you want it.
