If you've seen a referrer in your logs with a link to a "webdevboard" forum, don't bother registering to read - they claim to be offering you a valuable free service by spamming your logs and plan to send you an email w/any broken links they find on your site - opt out requests are met with replies to "wait until you receive our email"... sigh.

Your mail has been moved to Search Engine Spider ID.

Although I'm not the forum moderator and even the forum as a whole is in the rebuilding process after been down for nearly nine months, the majority of the previous participants at Search Engine Spider ID had sort of an agreed consensus to NOT acknowledge log spammers as it only had the effect of furthering the spammers cause in precisely the way the spammer intended, which is free advertising.

Wilderness, while I agree with not giving more publicity, bcolflesh should have mentioned that the referrer looks like ones site is mentioned in a forum thread which then makes you curious as to why, certainly in case of my site for I see no reason for it to be mentioned in a dev forum.

I was most annoyed with this underhand spamming.
They are now banned
