Hi,

I just stumbled across this:

a.b.c.d - - [05/Jun/2004:02:55:33 +0200] "GET / HTTP/1.1" 200 12988 "http://www.imaginespammysuperlativedomainnamehere.com/cgi-bin/topsecret.cgi?8243452643" "Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 7.01; Windows 98)" "-"

This started several weeks ago and happens about 3-4 times a day. The script parameter is always the same. When I actually browse the link given, I get redirected to a site offering tips on how to do thousands of Dollars with Google...

I can easily block the IP address so I don't get bothered anymore. But can I STOP them from doing this?

Yes. Your site is ODP-listed.

I emailed the owner of the domain and the reponsible network contact. I got an automated email back that my mail was deleted without being read.

No new log entries since 16-Jul though...

What now?

get lots of these with "almostbutnotquitemydomainname" as the origin ...
went there once ..
was a site offering to sell me the "almostbutnotquitemydomainname" to "prevent" ( their words!) cyber squatting ..!
they said they had done me a favour and registered it before anyone else did so as to try to help me out ( they said all of this via script too ) ...

I was sooooo ..gratefull ...;)
