I've got the latest version of WT Log Analyzer and it just doesn't want to resolve about 90% of the visitor IPs. It's not that they can't be resolved (I've checked manually).

Is anyone else having this problem ?

No. My program successfully has resolved 1097926 of 1357639 IPs (80.7%) without any special improvements. So I think your provider could have bugs with DNS service.

Wohhh there NightWing !

According to the manual, WT will do ALL the resolving for you, if your provider doesn't.

I already know my ISP doesn't resolve them. But why can't WebTrends ?

I've tried the same log files in NetTracker, and it has NO problem resolving them.

many IP addresses can not be resolved
by reverse DNS lookup.

Try 123LogAnalyzer, it uses IP mapping technology and generates better region report.

Sorry, i didn't mention that i have a very own software not webtrends or similar tools. I prefer to have a way to create custom reports and don't bound on standard costly packages.
btw: sorry for my english, i much more strong in ASP and delphi :)
