Reversing URL redirects

Need to automatically list destination URLs

I have a long list of redirects (of the form www.mydomain.com/xyz123). I'd like to find out the final destination of each redirect, but without copying each one into a browser.

Does anyone know of a script or utility that could do this automatically for me? Thanks.

I have a site with a long list of redirects in that format. The reason for using it is to prevent people 'scraping' the content and using it on their own site. I hope that's not what you're doing ;)

edit: in fact, someone just started scraping that site today...

How did you find out so quickly? ;)

This is perfectly kosher. It's for one of my clients - I'm helping him manage a PPC campaign and we are trying to move tracking systems. But first we have to find out where the old tracking system is sending the users.

Use Xenu - do search to find.

Will give you a list of the original url and the redirection - I use it for maintaining 13,000 outbound links.
