Hi gang...I'm one of the newest members to the site and so far I'm very pleased to have found this site!

Been searching and viewing some threads and I'm amazed at how much knowledge is here.

What I'm looking for is a way to track how many hits my banners take from my site. This way....I can keep my sponsors informed of just how many hits they are taking from my site.

I own my own dedicated server and have access to WHM as well as cPanel. I've looked through my statistics and it doesn't well define how many hits these banners are taking.

Any help on this is GREATLY appreciated.

Hey Mark,

Welcome to WebmasterWorld, you found the right place for getting best information :)

About Banner Tracking
If you are having a dedicated server, then why not check out PhpAdsNew (www.phpadsnew.com) it is not only open source, but also has tons of features and should be good enough even if you are wanting to server about 10 million ad impressions a day.

Hope this helps.

NS, thank you for the response and welcoming. ;)

I'll definitely look into the program you mentioned. Though it may take this rookie a while to get it up and running....hahaha.....

Again, thank you for the response and welcome.

Thank you as well Shak....

As for the phpAdsNew....wow! I am definitely amazed at how much time and effort has gone into a program which is free to use. They WILL definitely be getting a donation from this hombre. ;-)

I'm still in the configuration of the program, but the ease of use is awesome.

Again, thank you for the recommendation NS and Shak!

Are either one of you using this program...?

I'm a bit confused....whew....seems like this program is packed with more than I need. Now I'm just trying to figure out how to input the banners onto my webpage without messing with any of the code that may be added to the images.

I have installed the program and configured areas with it and added banners as it instructed.

Thanks...
