I am a member of an MSN community where I have posted some photos. I would like to be able to track how many hits and the ip addresses each time someone clicks on my photos to view them.

Is there a way to do that? I know what do to if it is my own website, but I am this is not my site. Is there a way to embed html code into my picture? or attach a counter type code?

TIA for any advise

If you host the image yourself and just provide the link to MSN, then every request will write a row out into your logs. Just make sure you don't have something with the same name on your own site or you won't be able to easily tell them apart.

If you are uploading it to MSN then you might be out of luck. The only thing I could think in that case is to try to stick a clear gif tracker in any open text fields that support html, like the image name or description. That might not be allowed though so check first.
