Simple Cross Site Tracking Tools

WPG Traffic Analyzer's Days are Numbered - Any Similar Tools?

Now that the life of WPG Traffic Analyzer is drawing to a close, I am seeking a similar utility to fill the void. The criteria that rank highest for me are:

a) Cross domain support.... like with WPG TA, I want to be able to see numbers for each and every domain (on different hosts) that I apply it to on the first screen. This is a big downer for other solutions I have tried... they are great for managing a single domain, but if you have a stack of them and want and overall picture (1 line and visitor number per domain) they have proved to be a let down.

b) Cheap. The figures quoted for other solutions, having been used to getting a free service, are excessive (IMHO). I don't expect to pay an arm and a leg for this, but will pay something.

c) The ability to drill down by domain, SE or other criteria by clicking on the initial screen is also important

I guess what I am looking for is what I am about to lose, or as close to it as possible (bad move FirstPlace by the way... I have actually bought a copy of WPG for every one of my clients just for the TA component... which I have wrapped up in a bit of Java to make it easy).

Any suggestions? Anyone found anything similar to WPG TA, which meets the above criteria?

There really aren't that many. There are some high powered tools (very expensive $4-5k each) but nothing reasonable. WebTrends is about the best going in that regard.

If you dont mind using tools from logfiles on a local host, and don't mind using a free product. ;)

I am happy with Report Magic. Used in tandem with Analog, Report Magic let you generate customised reports wich are very close to WebTrends.

You can deal with different custom LOGFORMAT from different hosts and operate with as many sites you like in a string. The only problem is that you have to get all those logfiles on your HD first.

It's a pity.... WPGTA was just SO simple... even the customers could understand it (no offfence customers!). It sounds to me like there's a market out there for a TA lookalike at decent cost... maybe something will emerge to fill the void.
