I see .net clr all the time. What is it? Searches have brought me only log entries, but no information. Do I want to anything about it? Where to go?

This is the version of the .NET runtime installed on a users computer. If they're running Windows and IE and have the .NET runtime (that is, they can run programs written in Microsoft .NET languages), then IE displays the version of the runtime in their browser. If you don't know about it - it doesn't affect you! :)

As an aside, many people are holding off developing apps in .NET until the runtime has sufficiently penetrated the market. It will come standard in Longhorn, but with all the delays it's taking it a while to really get to market. Hopefully these browser statistics will give developers a semi-reliable indication of how far along the penetration is; many are waiting until 75% of users have it.
