I see that there has been a thread in the past with similar activity from this IP's class B and am wondering if it's related. Anyone know who it is? A tracert says that the destination is unreachable after hitting NYC9.ALTER.NET.
Anyone think there is a covert SE building it's db for a surprise launch? Maybe it's a spammer's bot trying to glean email addresses. Regardless... I'm not happy with them jamming up my logs!

Please note that we did shut down the robots and ip address forum because of very serious concerns. This forum is not a replacement for that one. eg: we can *not* have general IP addresses put into messages in this forum.
