I'm interested in acquiring a web log analysis tool that would allow me to browse individual visits and their click paths, along with all the regular statistics. Can anyone recommend anything?

ClickTracks does step before a page and step after a page only. HitBox and WebTrends do longer path analysis, and both can do it using page groups as well as individual pages. WebTrends does reverse path analysis also. (not all HitBox and WT versions do it) Also,WebTrends allows you to see path analyses where you specify the starting page. Coremetrics does path analysis but it's not true path analysis - it's the most common jump from a page, then the most common jump from each of those pages, and so forth. Not the same thing. But Coremetrics does allow you to drill down to the individual person level to see their path. AWStats does path analysis, but I don't know anything more than that. There are a lot of other packages I don't know about ... and all the above have shortcomings of one kind or another.

hi,I am new here. I have a silly question: I login to webtrendslive.com to check my server statistics. But where is the log to check if googlebot has scanned my website? Do I have to use some other software? The webtrends you guys are talking about, is it different from the webtrendslive.com?

Sawmill shows paths through a site and will also show individual session paths.
